How your information is handled

This website doesn't track you. Here's what you need to know about what happens to information about you.

Who is responsible: Katharina Dolan, psychologist, is responsible for how personal information on this website and in email to her is handled. Contact: katharina.dolan@lysnepsykolog.no.
When you visit the website: The site has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no forms. It loads nothing from other companies; even the fonts come from this site. If you choose a language, that choice is remembered in your own browser and never sent to me. My hosting provider, Railway, keeps technical logs (such as IP address, time and the page requested) for a short time to run and protect the site.
When you email me: If you email me, I receive your email address and what you write, and use it only to reply to you and, if we agree to work together, to arrange sessions. Email isn't a secure channel for sensitive details, so a short description of what you'd like help with is enough; we can talk about the rest in a session.
If you become a client: Sessions are booked through Lysne (Oslo Psykologklinikk), which keeps the patient record under the duty of confidentiality, as Norwegian law requires (helsepersonelloven). Lysne's privacy statement explains how it's handled, and you'll receive information about this when we start.
Your rights: You can ask to see the information I hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted where the law allows (patient records have their own rules). You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
